Personal Advisor

Seven Social Care is currently seeking a highly motivated and proactive Personal Advisor to join our team in Rutland.

As a Personal Advisor, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to individuals who require assistance in achieving their goals and overcoming personal obstacles.

The rate of pay for this role is £20 per hour.

Responsibilities:

– Build a trusting and supportive relationship with clients by actively listening and providing guidance and advice in a non-judgmental manner

– Work with clients to identify their strengths, skills, and interests, and help them develop a plan to achieve their goals

– Help clients access and navigate local services such as housing, education, and healthcare

– Assist clients in developing life skills such as budgeting, time management, and communication

– Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions and progress towards their goals

– Attend team meetings and training sessions to develop and improve skills and knowledge

– Build and maintain positive relationships with other professionals and community organisations to ensure clients receive comprehensive support

Requirements:

– A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as social work, psychology, or counselling

– Previous experience working with vulnerable individuals in a similar role preferred

– Knowledge and understanding of the local services available to support individuals

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with clients from diverse backgrounds

– Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively

– Computer literacy and experience using record-keeping systems

– Fluency in English and ability to speak other languages will be an advantage.

– Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as required
