Physiotherapist

Seven Healthcare are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team in the heart of Newry. The perfect candidate will provide compassionate and dedicated treatment and rehabilitation for patients suffering from a wide range of health issues, including musculoskeletal, respiratory, and neurological disorders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Carry out comprehensive patient assessments to establish an accurate clinical diagnosis and devise suitable treatment plans.

2. Implement customized physiotherapy intervention plan to promote patient’s wellbeing and health.

3. Monitor patient’s progress regularly, adjust treatment plans as needed and provide detailed reports on patient’s condition and progress.

4. Give advice and provide self-help, exercise, and lifestyle changesto enhance recovery and prevent recurrence of the health issue.

5. Collaborate with other professionals like doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists in a multidisciplinary team to provide well-rounded patient care.

6. Maintain accurate case notes and records.

7. Adhere to professional guidelines and codes of conduct and maintain up-to-date knowledge of latest practices in the field.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physiotherapy and fully registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in the UK.

2. Minimum 1-year experience as a Physiotherapist.

3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with sound understanding and ability to handle sensitive issues.

4. Ability to work in a team as well as independently driven.

5. Knowledge of current physiotherapy techniques, aids, and equipment.

6. Empathy, patience and ability to manage emotional situations.

Working Hours

The working hours will typically include weekdays and may require flexibility for occasional weekend or evening work.
