Plaster/Tiler

Seven Resourcing is looking for a qualified Tiler/Plasterer to fill an opportunity in Darlington. This is a full-time opportunity and the rate of pay is £17.16 per hour via Umbrella. 

The role:

Darlington Borough Council delivers responsive repairs, maintenance, and planned works to various council properties and Civic Buildings across the City of Darlington. 

We are now seeking a self-motivated individual to join our team on a long-term basis and this role will appeal to you if you have a genuine interest in the delivery of Public Services. You will be expected to undertake routine wall-tiling duties as part of an existing team carrying out 1 property per day. This role is long-term work for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

– Experience of tiling walls to a good quality standard.

– Basic plumbing is an advantage.

– Working with all types of materials including plasterboards, bonding, PVA, ceramic tiles, and tile trim.

– Experience of following instructions.

– Experience of using a variety of electrical and hand held tools as appropriate for the job role.

You will be required to work individually as well as part of a dedicated team.

Applicant Requirements:

• Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
• Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
• Experience:2 years written references.
• Qualifications: CSCS Card is required and City and Guilds Level 3 in plastering.
• Compliance: Proof of right to work in the UK.
