Plumber

Seven Resourcing are currently seeking a Plumber to work within North Tyneside . This is a fulltime role, paying £15.83 p/h starting ASAP.

Position: Plumber

Location: North Tyneside

Pay Details: £15.83 per hour PAYE.

The role: The Council has a commercially focused, successful and thriving Building Services division which are currently looking to recruit two Plumbers to join the repairs and maintenance team. This team look after domestic council housing stock and other council owned properties such as sheltered housing schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out installation and maintenance work in accordance with job instructions/specifications, and all current legislation.

Ensure that a high standard of workmanship is maintained in accordance with the Quality Assurance system ISO 9002 and current works specification.

Understand and comply with Health & Safety legislation, practices and procedures with particular regard to installing and maintaining electro-technical systems and equipment.

Understand and comply with environmental legislation working practices and principles of environmental technology systems.

Interpret and comply with drawings, schedules and specifications.

Attend briefings when required for safety and policy issues.

Maintain all plant and equipment used in good order.

Be aware and comply with current legislative requirements relating to the construction workplace.

Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.

Comply with risk and method statements and other relevant Health & Safety assessments appropriate to the work.

Qualifications & Education:

NVQ level 2 in Plumbing, City and Guilds or equivalent in Plumbing

CSCS Card / Registration or be able to meet criteria the criteria for a skilled worker card. Asbestos Awareness.

Experience & Knowledge:

Experience working on housing and/or commercial projects.

2 Years References + Driving Licence
