Seven Resourcing is working with Birmingham Children’s Trust to recruit a Practice Educator for Life Work Hub in their Practice Academy.

Initial 6 month contract from October 2023 – May 2024

£170.16 per day

SWE Registered with UK experience

Practice Educator Level 2 is essential

Children and families experience

Enhanced DBS with children’s and adults barred requested

Right to work in the UK

Drivers Licence with business use

Do you have an interest in Life Story Work and value it as an integral part of the child’s journey. Do you understand the importance of capturing & hearing the ‘child’s voice’?  If yes; then this is the role for you.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our  Practice Academy as a Practice Educator to work with final year Student Social Workers. Based within the Life Work Hub you will be responsible for assessing & supporting students across the trust to undertake and complete direct work with children that will result in a coherent and accessible Life Work Book. 

Using your knowledge of the Professional Capabilities Framework and the Knowledge and skills statement, you will be able to share your professional, experience, wisdom and passion in role modelling good practice to motivate and inspire the next generation of Social Workers.  

You will hold an approved social work qualification, SWE registration as well as the Practice Educators’ Award level 2. 

This is a temporary contract for 160 days, to cover time before and after students final 100 day placement at a fixed rate of £170.16 per day. To start from early October 23 till May 24.
