Private Sector Housing Officers

Seven Social Care is looking for a Private Sector Housing Officers at Redditch Borough Council paying £27.00 per hour

The role:

Can be either office based or home working but will require inspection of properties within Redditch Borough and Bromsgrove District boundaries

Candidates MUST be  

HHSRS trained

HHSRS enforcement

Ideally the candidate will have an environmental health background in order to understand the correct service of notices etc. 

However, if the right candidate comes along that has carried out enforcement without the degree or professional background of environmental health we will be happy to speak to them.  In terms of cherry on the top, a candidate that has enforced MEES (Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards) within the private sector will just be amazing.

To inspect private sector dwellings following complaints from tenants or members of the public regarding property conditions

To issue schedules of work to landlords

To issue Formal Notices to owners of property under the Housing Act 2004 (Housing Health and Safety Rating System) and other legislation and attend Residential Property Tribunals and court as necessary.
