Project Manager – Refugee Resettlement

Seven Social Care is looking for a Project Manager to work with Nottingham City Council in their Refugee Resettlement Service.

Start Date – ASAP

Pay rate – £24.91

The role:

A short term post to manage the delivery of projects helping recently arrived Ukrainian refugees in Nottingham, including sponsorship arrangements and family support. Applicants should have an excellent understanding of safeguarding, project and financial management and of supporting community and partnership projects. Applicants wanted urgently as people are already arriving each day. Efforts will be made to schedule events during the traditional working day, but some flexibility to meet community need on weekend or evenings will be needed. Working week hybrid Office 3 days home and in community 2 days – flexible hours considered.

Key Responsibilities:

      Support the Team Manager in promoting positive relationships with the media, including through working with communities to develop positive stories of successes and achievements.

Develop, monitor and review integration and casework services for resettled refugees arriving in Nottingham and partner South Nottinghamshire authorities.

To lead and participate in management and project teams, working groups, stakeholder forums involving other public sector agencies and organizations, private sector, voluntary sector and citizens.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: N/A
  • Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.
  • Compliance: Proof of right to work and DBS dated within the last 12 months (or registered on the online update service.)
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 35 hours p/w.
