Qualified Senior Social Worker

Seven Social Care are currently hiring for a Qualified Senior Social Worker position in Shropshire, UK. The successful candidate will join our passionate team dedicated to supporting individuals, families, and communities in need.

Responsibilities:

1. Offer high-quality social work services to individuals, families, and groups.

2. Assess the social, emotional, and environmental factors affecting people’s wellbeing.

3. Create and implement targeted action plans to address clients’ specific needs.

4. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to offer comprehensive support.

5. Handle complex cases, including risk assessment and crisis intervention.

6. Advocate for clients’ rights and facilitate access to the resources they need.

7. Provide guidance, counselling, and support to clients and their families.

8. Monitor and document clients’ progress and adapt strategies as required.

9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies, legislation, and best practices in social work.

10. Mentor junior members of the team and offer professional development guidance.

Requirements:

1. Qualified Social Worker Status (QSW), registered with the Social Work England.

2. Extensive experience in social work, preferably at a senior level.

3. Knowledge of the legislative framework and policies related to social work.

4. Proficiency in case management software and electronic health records.

5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

6. Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

7. Ability to handle stressful situations and emotionally challenging circumstances.

8. Flexible with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

9. Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD).

10. Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as needed.
