Seven Resourcing is working with Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council to recruit Social Workers for their Safeguarding and Family Adolescent Services.

Initial 3 month on-going contracts.

Part-time/Full-time can be considered.

£33.30 per hour and £36 per hour ONLY if you live outside the West Midlands.

SWE Registration with UK Experience of over 12 – 24 months ideally.

Child Friendly Dudley holds the highest ambitions for our children, young people and families and works to a restorative practice model.

We are currently in the process of implementing Family Safeguarding Practice across children’s services. It is a strengths-based, whole-family approach to child protection, bringing together individual multi-disciplinary teams comprising of professionals from children’s and adult services to work intensively with families to reduce the number of children entering into care or becoming subject to child protection planning.

Family Safeguarding Practice Moves the focus from monitoring compliance to engaging with families in a strengths-based way and producing meaningful change through Motivational Interviewing, a person-centred therapeutic way of practicing designed to harness and enhance readiness for change. The new recording systems allows Social Workers to return to the grass roots of Social Work practice and focuses on building relationships with children, young people and their families to achieve better outcomes for the whole family.

It is an exciting time to join Dudley Children’s Services as we implement the Family Safeguarding Model across our services. We have an extensive training offer through our Centre for Professional Practice with great career progression opportunities. We are looking for dynamic and driven Social Workers to join us on are journey in achieving excellence. 

The Family Safeguarding Practice Service comprises of 6 teams and will support families with children under the age of 12. The Adolescent Safeguarding Service will work with Children and Young People from the age of 12 upwards and comprises of 6 teams and 1 Contextual Safeguarding team. Preferences can be given following a successful interview.
