Qualified Social Worker

Seven Social Care is working with Derbyshire County Council to recruit a Qualified Social Worker for their Child Protection Team in Derbyshire.

The Order is showing a pay rate of £32 per hour but the client would be prepared to pay up to £38 per hour, depending on experience.

We are looking for experienced social workers to join social work teams in Chesterfield. Social workers will have protected caseloads and be supported by regular and consistent supervision through an experienced and well established practice supervisors and management group. The teams work with CIN and CP with the opportunity to develop court experience for those with less court work skills. Equally we welcome those with established court skills. You will also be supported as well as our children, young people and families.

Rates of pay up to £38 per hour dependent on levels of experience. We have a number of agency staff that have worked with us for more than 2yrs which serves as testament to the experience of working in the area. You will benefit from access to core training and a warm and welcoming environment. We expect staff to work Monday – Friday 9-5pm from our West Street Area Office, Chesterfield where you would benefit from being part of the team although we also support home working to support time to write up work. Team managers will be available to discuss this in more detail.
