Reablement Support Worker

Seven Social Care are currently looking for a Reablement Support Worker to start work in Warrington. This is an interim post, initially for 3 months with the view of extending.

Responsibilities:

To support and enable service users with personal care, including bathing/showering where appropriate (aids/adaptations must be in place where they have assessed as required) and general activities of daily living.

Enable and support service users with their needs including preparation of food, dressing, using aids and adaptations to enable independence.

To work with service users to build confidence and continue supportive programmes in the community and other settings as required.  Assist in the carrying out of activities for the wellbeing of service users.

This post is working within the community in people’s own homes. Uniform and PPE will be provided.

Applicant Requirements:

Experience: Previous experience in care work or relevant voluntary or life experience associated with caring for people      

Qualifications: Willingness to undertake training to a minimum of Level 2 NVQ/QCF in Care (if you do not already have a qualification)

Compliance: Current enhanced DBS, right to work in the UK.

Hours : 37 hours a week, Able to work to a rota that includes evenings and weekends

Travel: Full UK driving license with access to your own car (desirable)
