Reablement Support Worker

Seven Social Care are currently recruiting for a Reablement Support Worker to start a new role in Warrington.

We will train you to work with those who need our services to encourage them and help them to become independent so that they can stay in their home environment whilst ensuring that they are treated with dignity and respect at all times.

This post is working within the community in people’s own homes. Uniform and PPE will be provided.

Responsibilities:

 To support and enable service users with personal care, including bathing/showering where appropriate (aids/adaptations must be in place where they have assessed as required) and general activities of daily living.

Enable and support service users with their needs including preparation of food, dressing, using aids and adaptations to enable independence.

To work with service users to build confidence and continue supportive programmes in the community and other settings as required.  Assist in the carrying out of activities for the wellbeing of service users.

To support and assist with procedures such as continence management and the administration/recording of medication and other daily living skills as required

Applicant Requirements:

Experience: Previous experience in care work or relevant voluntary or life experience associated with caring for people    

Qualifications:  NVQ/QCF level 2 in care related discipline    

Compliance: Enhanced DBS on the update service, Right to Work in the UK

Hours: 37 hours a week, Able to work to a rota that includes evenings and weekends

Travel: full UK driving license and access to your own car
