Recycling Assistant

Seven Social Care is looking for a recycling assistant to fill an exclusive opportunity in Plymouth.

 We have opportunities available for up to 12 months and the pay is £14.68 per hour.

 The Hiring manager is looking for someone who can work 37 hours a week (various shifts available from Monday to Sunday).

The role:

To assist members of the public to dispose of or recycle a variety of household waste. To comply with Standard Operating Procedures and Health & Safety within an operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

To assist members of the public in with the correct disposal of their waste materials in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines and Codes of Practice.

Responsible for cleaning locations where spillages and split bags have taken place and responsible for safe removal of hazardous substances. Ensure areas are left clean and tidy after collections /operations, including replacement of bins.

Report unsafe working practices to line manager.
