Regeneration & Infrastructure Officer

Seven Social Care is looking for a Regeneration & Infrastructure Officer at Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council

The role:

To assist the Regeneration & Infrastructure Manager with the implementation and project management of the Council’s strategic programme of regeneration and infrastructure activity.

To deputise for the Regeneration & Infrastructure Manager as required.

To assume additional duties as reasonably determined by the Regeneration & Infrastructure Manager and participate in interchange of duties to cover for sickness, annual leave and staff vacancies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1 To assist in the delivery of a portfolio of complex Regeneration & Infrastructure projects in accordance with the Council’s Regeneration Strategy.

2 To work with appropriate partner organisations and groups to enhance the delivery of Regeneration & Infrastructure projects.

To support the Regeneration & Infrastructure Manager by representing the Council in discussions with relevant government departments; agencies and private sector organisations, including Transport NI, Property Developers, Northern Ireland Housing Executive, Department for Communities, Lagan Canal Trust, Lagan Valley Regional Park Committee, Inland Waterways Association of Ireland etc. and to represent the Council on external bodies and committees as appropriate.
