Residential Care Worker – Rivercourt

Seven Social Care is looking for a Residential Care Worker at Rivercourt in hammersmith and Fulham

The role:

To assist service users to have a comfortable, enjoyable and productive stay in the short breaks unit.

To work positively with carers to develop their trust in the service and promote the aims for the service in respect of service users

To ensure own practice complies with national minimum standards at all times

To keywork specific service users  and implement person centred planning in respect of them

To contribute to the continuous improvement of the service and the team 

To lead basic grade support workers on each shift in respect of all standards, procedures, values and objectives of the short breaks service and to actively promote best practice for short breaks.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high quality care

Ensure service users health care needs are met

Participate in risk assessment, positive risk management and the development of practice in the home in respect of health and safety.

manage support staff in relation to the day to day operational standards in; care practice and contribute to N.V.Q. ,L.D.A.F. assessment processes in respect of these staff

to meet the full range of service users needs including in relation to there:- physical care, autistic spectrum disorders, challenging behaviour and mental health needs
