Seven Social Care have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Residential Childcare Manager in Cumbria.

You will be required to manage a brand new 3 bed home in the Brampton area.

The role:

You will be responsible for the delivery of care and protection for the children and young people living within the home. You will also ensure that residential staff engage with children and young people in all aspects of their daily lives in a planned and purposeful way.

To be successful within this role you will have:

      Experience of residential childcare management

Excellent knowledge of Ofsted requirements and standards.

Be familiar with managing the Ofsted inspection process to ensure the highest possible evaluation and Standards of Care.

Minimum Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People or equivalent and hold or willing to undertake Diploma Level 5 in Leadership & Management within 2 years

A full valid driving licence.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years working as a Residential Childcare Manager.
  • Compliance: Up to date DBS.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 38.5 hours p/w.
