Senior Accountant (Grade M)

Seven Resourcing is looking for a Senior Accountant (Grade M) to work in the Tower Hamlets area of Greater London.

£456.25 per day.

Working Day 9.00AM – 17:00AM

35 Hours a week.

Job Decription:

Senior Accountant required for Health, Adults and Community Directorate financial support, covering budget management, financial management of grants,

Better Care Fund, Capital Monitoring, Inflationary budget management, partnership funding, MTFS savings and tracking of Transformation programme delivery and other associated financial management, reporting to the Head of Strategic Finance.

Applicant Requirements:

Strong knowledge of Adult Social Care and Public Health financial management required.

Experience of working in a performance driven professional finance environment. 

Experience of managing a financial team and working closely with other teams to deliver tangible outcomes. 

Understanding of Financial Procedures and the financial cycle. 

Knowledge of Financial Regulations Standing Orders and legislation affecting financial matters. Experience of interpreting and applying finance related legislation. 

Qualifications:

Fully qualified Accountant (Current Member of CCAB or CIMA) qualification and have experience in Local Government Finance.

Compliance:-

Compliance: Up to date Passport and DBS.

Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
