Senior Family Worker

Seven Resourcing are currently seeking a Senior Family Worker to work within Stockton On Tees Council. This is a full time hybrid position, and we are paying £19.55 per hour for this role.
The role:
To provide support to children/young people and their families/carers delivering a range of support to compliment Social Care interventions.
Work flexibly across Children’s Services within various departments to ensure children and families receive timely support.
Key Responsibilities:
- To assist statutory children’s services (where appropriately identified and agreed) with interventions that offer continuity for families whilst in the process of further assessment.
- To attend and contribute to meetings to provide a clear overview of involvement and progress with the family.
- Ensure timely and accurate recordings of all interventions on Liquid Logic.
- To maintain training and personal and professional development an understanding of key issues that affect families and how best to support these families through recognised evidence based interventions.
- To provide service according to identified needs of children and families as directed by team manager between the core hours of 7.30am – 8.00pm (Mon – Fri). Flexibility required to work beyond core hour to meet the needs of service users and/or the service.
Applicant Requirements:
- Qualifications: GCSEs A-C or equivalent including at least English and Maths.
Educated to A Level standard or equivalent experience
- Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.
- Compliance: Current Standard DBS check.
- Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
- Hours: 37 hours p/w.
