Senior Lawyer

Seven Social Care is seeking a qualified Senior Lawyer to join our reputable legal team in Exeter. This position offers an opportunity to provide world-class legal services to our diverse clientele. The right candidate should have substantial experience across a broad range of legal fields and a proven track record of client success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and draft legal documents such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, etc.

2. Assist clients in all aspects of the legal proceedings.

3. Represent clients in courtroom and advocate their rights.

4. Negotiate deals and disputes with a client-focused aggressive approach.

5. Liaise with clients and other legal professionals to orchestrate and expedite cases.

6. Conduct legal research and implement complicated laws and regulations in real-world scenarios.

7. Handle daily judiciary functions, consultations, meetings, and case investigations.

8. Train, supervise and mentor junior lawyers and legal representatives.

Key Requirements:

1. Legally qualified with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a law firm or in-house position.

2. Excellent knowledge of UK law, court proceedings, and advocacy.

3. Strong negotiation and communication skills.

4. Exceptional multitasking, organisation, and time management abilities.

5. Attention to detail and the capacity to handle substantial pressure.

6. Able to maintain high level of confidentiality.

7. Good coaching and leadership skills.

8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and collaboratively.
