Senior Lawyer

Seven Social Care is looking for a Senior Lawyer for Devon County Council paid at £55 per hour, this is a fully remote position and can be completed from anywhere in the UK.

The role:

We are currently has an exciting opportunity for a Lawyer specialising in child protection law to join our team, dealing with high profile and challenging cases, covering all aspects of public family proceedings from initial advice to final hearing and supporting the Council’s priority of safeguarding children within our local communities You will have excellent communication, analytical and drafting skills, be able to manage a full caseload and be willing to undertake advocacy at the appropriate level.

Applicant Requirements:

Practicing Lawyer with 2+ year’s PQE together with strong advocacy

Negotiating and advisory skills and IT competence.

You will need an enabling positive approach to finding solutions to complex problems and have good appreciation of risk management.

Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
