Senior Planning Officer

Seven Resourcing are currently seeking a Senior Planning Officer to work within Lincolnshire County Council. This is a full time role, paying £71.97 p/h. 

Position Summary:

As a Senior Planning Officer, you will play a crucial role in the processing and assessment of planning applications related to mineral, waste, and County Council development. The primary responsibility is to thoroughly review applications, conduct assessments, and provide well-informed recommendations to the Planning and Regulation Committee for final decisions on approval or refusal.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Application Processing:
   • Receive and review planning applications related to mineral, waste, and County Council development.
   • Ensure applications comply with relevant laws, regulations, and local policies.
   • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for application assessment.

    

2. Site Inspections:
   • Conduct on-site inspections to assess the impact and feasibility of proposed developments.
   • Evaluate environmental, social, and economic factors relevant to planning applications.
   • Compile comprehensive reports based on site visits and findings.
