Senior Residential Support Worker

Seven Social Care is looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker in a private children’s residential service in Shropshire

The role:

We’re looking for hardworking and dedicated individuals who will be responsible for working with our young people at our residential home.

The Senior Support Worker must be able to work independently, communicate effectively with both supervisors and young people, and be capable of interacting positively with all members of the community, including residents, families and guests.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who is capable of working off of detailed instructions in order to complete tasks and lead a team of Support workers, completing supervisions and developing their continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of support workers completing supervisions, providing feedback on CPD and be responsible for shifts.

Provide tailored and focused support to traumatised children and young people.

Support with independence skills.

Align with the ethos and morals of the company.

Remain calm and consistent in challenging situations.

Discuss with other employees about care plans and work goals.

Demonstrate professionalism and patience when dealing with young people, professionals, and families.

Be adaptable and consistent in the delivery of care.
