Senior Residential Support Worker

Seven Social Care is looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker at Ilea Palm Care Ltd

The role:

ILEA Palm Care is a family owned and operated private limited company, established to deliver high quality childcare for children and young people who need 24 hour registered residential provision.

We believe that children and young people deserve a family home, not a care home.

We are able to look after 3 children aged between 8-18 who are in need of care and support due to personal circumstances that have resulted in the child being placed (fully or partially) into the care of the local authority.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of support workers completing supervisions, providing feedback on CPD and be responsible for shifts.

Provide tailored and focused support to traumatised children and young people.

Support with independence skills.

Align with the ethos and morals of the company.

Remain calm and consistent in challenging situations.

Discuss with other employees about care plans and work goals.

Demonstrate professionalism and patience when dealing with young people, professionals, and families.

Be adaptable and consistent in the delivery of care.

Applicant Requirements:

Experience:

Residential Childcare: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

NVQ/QCF Level 3/4 Residential Childcare or equivalent (required)

Driving Licence (required)
