Senior Social Worker

Seven Social Care have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our growing team in York, UK.

Job duties:

1. Evaluate the needs, situations and eligibility of clients referred for social services.

4. Plan, execute, review and modify services to meet personal, social, health and welfare needs of the clients.

5. Consult and collaborate with other professionals, community groups and agencies in the field to provide high-quality care services.

6. Undertake and write up assessments meeting specific timescales and service standards.

7. Lead a team of social workers, providing supervision, training, and development opportunities.

8. Facilitate the clients’ well-being by utilising the resources available, including family and community resources.

9. Implement and review individual plans with clients and their families.

10. Adhere to all legal standards and requirements, always maintaining client confidentiality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. A degree or postgraduate qualification in social work.

2. Registered as a social worker in the UK.

3. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a relevant field.

4. An in-depth understanding of UK’s social services system.

5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

6. Strong leadership and organization abilities.

7. Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

8. A passion for social justice and a strong desire to help others.

9. Ability to work flexibly including some evenings and weekends.
