Senior Social Worker – Operations

Seven Social Care are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and experienced Senior Social Worker for our operations team based in Hammersmith, UK. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of social work practice and principles, as well as a deep commitment to improving the quality of life for those they serve.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage a team of social workers, providing support, guidance, and supervision to ensure high-quality service is delivered.

2. Oversee and manage the successful functioning of day-to-day operations within the unit.

3. Conduct comprehensive assessments, prepare intervention strategies, and manage complex cases, demonstrating advanced practice as required.

4. Ensure all case files and reports are up to date and meet all legal requirements.

5. Evaluate and monitor service standards and procedures to maintain compliance with the relevant legislation and to improve the effectiveness of service.

6. Collaborate multidisciplinary teams, working closely with other social services professionals, community agencies, and relevant institutions.

7. Participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of programs and policies that meet the changing needs of the community.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Degree in Social Work and registration as a Social Worker with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in social work, with a focus on operations and management.

3. Substantial experience in working with vulnerable individuals, families, or groups, and providing consultative services.

4. Familiarity with social work regulations, ethics, and the ability to interpret and implement related legislation.

5. Excellent leadership, team management, and supervisory skills.

6. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

7. Excellent written, verbal communication, and digital literacy skills.

8. The ability and willingness to travel as part of the job requirements.
