Senior Support Worker

Seven Social Care is looking for a Senior Support Worker in hammersmith and Fulham

The role:

1.3 To be a key worker to a number of identified Residents.                          

1.4 To provide high standards of physical support/ assistance with personal care as required.

1.5 To participate in activities in and out of Services.

1.6 Be a positive part of the team. To lead staff meetings in the absence of the manager and ensure all key

      duties are allocated to staff, across

      both services.

1.7 To carry out assessments and promote independence.

1.8 To assist the Manager with the financial and administrative systems of the home, including performance  

      data, Residents bookings, and Health

      and Safety audits. To support Inspections as a Registered Home by the Care Quality Commission.

1.9 To Manage the Services in the absence of the Manager, as instructed.

2.0 To provide supervision to staff as required.

Key Responsibilities:

36 hours per week on a rota basis including weekends/Bank Holidays and sleep in duties.

2.1 Team across two sites:

Actively contribute to the development of the team and service and work to achieve the teams shared objectives and values. To ensure the team operates in a way that keeps Residents at the heart of the service. To communicate effectively and uphold quality assurance and national standards. To work positively with partner organisations.

2.2 Health and safety

Understand responsibilities, and maintain all standards and systems relating to health and safety. This to include involvement in delegated health and safety checks and risk assessments. Effective response to emergencies in accordance with procedures.

2.3 General

To assist in the general running of the services in relation to administration, reception, tidying & cleaning and communication systems. To promote an inclusive atmosphere and actively promote and value diversity.
