Social Worker

Seven Social Care are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team in Stoke, UK. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are looking to make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals and families in the community.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide high-quality social work services to individuals and families based on their needs.

2. Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised care plans.

3. Offer counselling and support to service users facing a range of social, emotional, financial and health-related issues.

4. Collaborate with different professionals such as psychologists, educational professionals, health providers, and the justice system to provide coordinated support.

5. Maintain case files and reports, and adhere to all necessary protocols and procedures.

6. Facilitate group sessions and workshops addressing common issues.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in social work (BSW), Master’s degree in social work (MSW) would be preferred.

– Registration with the UK’s professional regulator for social workers.

– Previous experience in a social work role would be advantageous.

– Proficiency in keeping accurate records and writing reports.

– Ability to make sound decisions in high-stress situations.

– Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills.

– Commitment to professional development and self-learning.
