Social Worker

Seven Social Care are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to provide professional and comprehensive casework to a caseload of individuals and families in the Halifax area. This role involves earning £33 per hour while making a positive impact on service users’ lives.

Responsibilities:

1. To provide holistic support to clients dealing with various difficulties, including mental health issues, addiction, poverty, and familial issues.

2. Carry out assessments and develop bespoke care plans to meet the specific needs of each client.

3. Collaborate with other professionals such as doctors, nurses, educators, and therapists to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.

4. Maintain accurate records of each case, including documenting progress, changes, and steps taken.

5. Advocate for clients and assist them in accessing resources and services available within the community.

Qualifications:

1. A recognised qualification in Social Work (such as BA, MA, CQSW, DipSW or equivalent), and registration on the Social Work England.

2. A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in a social work scenario.

3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

4. Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

5. A clear understanding of professional boundaries and codes of conduct.
