Social Worker

Seven Social Care are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team in Leeds, UK. This role is designed primarily to support individuals, families, and groups in dealing with various life challenges, focusing on improving their wellbeing.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of client’s situation to aid in planning appropriate interventions.

2. Collaborate with clients to create tailored plans aimed at working through their issues effectively.

3. Implement and monitor these plans regularly for effectiveness, adjusting them as required.

4. Advocate for and assist clients in gaining access to resources while confronting their personal issues, such as mental health or poverty.

5. Provide relevant psycho-social services to clients based on their needs and capabilities.

6. Collaborate and communicate with other professionals, like healthcare providers, teachers, and lawyers, to ensure continuity of care for clients.

7. Maintain comprehensive case records and submit detailed reports.

8. Adhere to all confidential requirements and respect client privacy at all times.

9. Comply with national and local legislation related to social service provision.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Social Work. A Master’s Degree will be highly regarded.

2. Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

3. Proven experience as a social worker, dealing with diverse cases.

4. Excellent understanding of the UK Social Welfare System.

5. Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with clients and their situation.

6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

7. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

8. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.
