Seven Social Care is looking for a qualified Social Worker at Stoke on Trent City Council

The role:

Start date asap

I am looking for a social worker experienced in child protection and court work. They must have completed their ASYE. I cannot consider a newly qualified social worker for this role.

The position is based in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire.

The team covers Uttoxeter and occasionally Burton on Trent. The candidate will be able to work flexibly from the office and from home depending on the needs of their caseload.

For the right candidate I am able to offer up to £33.30 per hour in line with the new west midlands MOU.

> managing children’s plans from CIN and CP through to PLO and Court work

> Some private law work as it arises

> You will be joining an established team of 4 other social workers

> There are a number of in house support services we can draw upon to support us in our work, such as edge of case teams, FGC, family Practitioners and a duty hub who complete the single assessments.

> The east district has a team of supportive managers

> You will have access to training

> Supervision will be once per month

> Staffordshire have adopted a restorative way of working with an emphasis on high support and high challenge.
