Social Worker – Adolescents Team

Seven Social Care are looking for a Specialist Social Worker to work in the Adolescent team in Exeter, Devon. This is paid at £44 Per Hour + £150 Per Week Expense Allowance.

The role:

Working primarily with 13 years old + who have child protection or child in need plans, this may include young people at risk of offending, exploitation or mental health needs. This is separate to our edge of care service called Bridges, you will be the young person’s social worker and undertake all statutory responsibilities accordingly. You can hot desk from either office base in Exeter and there is flexibility around hybrid working

Key Responsibilities:

• Working primarily with 13 years old + who have child protection or child in need plans, this may include young people at risk of offending, exploitation or mental health needs.
• This is separate to our edge of care service called Bridges, you will be the young person’s social worker and undertake all statutory responsibilities accordingly.   These role will be within Children and Families with a work location of Tiverton and some work across North Devon

Applicant Requirements:

• Qualifications: Social Work Degree.
• Experience: 2+ years working with children as a qualified Social Worker in the UK.
• Compliance: Up to date SWE registration and DBS.
• Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
• Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
