Social Worker, PLO and Court Team

Seven Social Care are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our dynamic PLO and Court team in Bournemouth.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide expert advice and support to individuals and their families, helping them navigate through complex societal and personal issues.

2. Collaborate with other professionals like teachers, nurses, and police to offer the best support.

3. Operate within the PLO and Court environments effectively – advocating for clients in a variety of court settings.

4. Carry out risk assessments and develop strategies to ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients.

5. Maintain up-to-date and accurate client records, while keeping in line with professional confidentiality and data protection policies.

6. Attend court hearings and provide court statements when required.

7. Work effectively within the framework of British law, particularly regarding child protection and adult social care laws.

Requirements:

1. Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work (or equivalent) and registered with Social Work England.

2. Proven experience in a statutory social work setting.

3. Profound knowledge of British law relating to social care, particularly child protection.

4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

5. The ability to work under high pressure whilst maintaining a standout performance.

6. Full UK driver’s license as travel may be needed for visiting service users.
