Social Worker – Pre Birth 0-5s Team

Seven Social Care are looking for a Specialist Social Worker to work in the Pre Birth 0-5s Team in Exeter, Devon. This is paid at £44 Per Hour + £150 Per Week Expense Allowance.

The role:

We are seeking experienced social workers to support our children and young people in Devon who are aged between 0 – 5 years. This is a fantastic opportunity to build meaningful and positive relationships with children, young people, and families; working closely with them to achieve positive outcomes that are family led, built on strengths, and achieve safety and stability keeping them safe through their childhood and beyond.

Staff can hot desk from either office base in Exeter or there is flexibility around hybrid working.  Remote working is supported as long as this meets the needs of the service and can be discussed on an individual basis

Key Responsibilities:

• Our Children and Families teams are responsible for managing child-in-need and child protection cases as well as cases in legal proceedings and looked after children.
• The casework is varied, and you will be working creatively to promote positive change within the home environment.  
• Our Exeter teams of Social Workers, ASYE’s and Family Practitioners are managed and supported by Team Managers, Advanced Social workers and our Specialist Assessment Practitioner 

Applicant Requirements:

• Qualifications: Social Work Degree.
• Experience: 2+ years working with children as a qualified Social Worker in the UK.
• Compliance: Up to date SWE registration and DBS.
• Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
• Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
