Strategy and Commissioning Officer

Seven Social Care are currently recruiting a Strategy and Commissioning Officer to work within Wokingham Borough Council.Working with the Head of Service for Strategic Commissioning (Children’s) and other members of the Strategy, Commissioning and Performance Team, this role will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction and vision of Children’s Services in Wokingham by overseeing the development and implementation of effective strategies and policies. The primary responsibility will be to analyse complex issues, provide strategic advice, develop strategies and policy recommendations to support our objectives.

Some key information is highlighted below:

Rate: This role is paying £375.01 per day via an umbrella company. 

Hours: 37 hours per week. 9am until 5pm. 

Contract Length: 6 months+

Location: Wokingham Council Offices – Shute end (Corporate)

Essential: Experience of writing strategies in Children’s Services (Specifically Early Intervention, Emotional Wellbeing, Sufficiency Statement, Children in Care and Care Leavers), Completing NEEDS Assessments, Engaging with a range of stakeholders, Experience in the role elsewhere.
