Streetscene Inspector

Seven Social Care is looking for a Streetscene Inspector at Norfolk County Council

The role:

To monitor, inspect and oversee all highway related maintenance activities within a geographical area.

This includes inspecting the highway, identifying recording, and prioritising the repair of defects in accordance with Departmental standards Identifying maintenance schemes for inclusion in the forward works programme.

The Highway Area teams are responsible for the client highway maintenance and streetworks functions for the County Council as Highway Authority.  Working contractors for delivery of works required, key services include highway inspection & scheme identification, Member and public interface, supervision of works (including utilities and developers), traffic management inspection and monitoring of all works affecting the public highway, and winter & emergency planning.
