Structural Engineer

Seven Resourcing are looking for a Structural Engineer to work with Bristol Council as an agency worker. 

Full Time – 37 hours per week – 9am until 5:00pm
Attending meetings on site as and when required 
Flexible working approximately 3 working days in the office during probation period 
£29.32 per hour UMBRELLA

Duties:

• Carry out structural surveys and provide detailed reports, assessments and design solutions, as required.
• Provide detailed design advice to project/programme managers/supervisors for major construction projects and programmes.
• Achieve programme objectives through the application of appropriate project methodology
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, regulations, and quality control processes.
• Use software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis programs.
• Manage projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Chartered status or working towards chartership with ICE or IStructE.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAP2000).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
