Support Worker – Farmborough Court

Seven Social Care are looking for a small number of Support Workers to work in Farmborough Court for Sunderland Care and Support.

The contracts on offer are 32 – 37 hours per week.

The role:

Farmborough Court Intermediate Care Centre provides accommodation for adults who are recovering from illness or injury and would benefit from a short period of rehabilitation to help them get back on their feet. The service is provided free of charge for a period of up to six weeks. During the stay, the Care Team, which could include Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Social Workers will work with the person to help them regain skills and confidence before supporting them to return home.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Provide excellent Social Care Services to people, promoting recovery, Independence, Inclusion, Health and Wellbeing.
• Enable individuals to have the opportunity to exercise choice & control and support people to shape their own lives.
• Deliver high quality excellent services, which meet individual needs
• To enable even those most disabled or disadvantaged, to participate as active citizens in their community.
• To create innovative housing and support solutions for vulnerable people – moving resources away from residential care

Applicant Requirements:

• Qualifications: N/A
• Experience: 2+ years working in a Support Worker role.
• Compliance: Up to date DBS and right to work in the UK up to 37 hours per week.
• Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
• Hours: 32/37 hours p/w.
