Systems Training and Support Officer

Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Systems Training and Support Officer to work in Peterborough. This position is initially for a period of 12 weeks and is paying £13.24 per hour (PAYE and Umbrella payment options are available).

The role:

Post is 1 of a team of 5 officers that carry out a helpdesk and support function (therefore responding to calls logged via our helpdesk systems, emails, and phone calls). Acting on specific calls, such as setting up users, sending out communications when system downtime etc, tidying up data on specific data quality tasks, some other duty tasks

Key Responsibilities:

      Working in a team covering a duty rota (on rotation weeks) supporting the Social Care and Early Help Case Management System for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Councils. This includes a link to a finance system for provision of services to children/carers

The system we primarily support is called Liquidlogic and we are a central support team that liaise with other teams that use the system to support a number of statutory functions such as Social Care Children in need, children with a Child Protection Plan, children who have become looked after, foster carers, providers, children with disabilities. Fostering and Adoption, Safeguarding etc. Early Support, Early Help and some specialist service areas. C 2000+ users internal and external per local authority

The role involves responding to queries raised by users and escalating issues with our supplier, our IT teams or to the manager of the team (some examples are setting up new user accounts, updating data, logging issues, testing fixes etc)

The role also has a statutory function to support queries from services and BI on their data returns and these happen between April and August

We upgrade 2 times a year, so supporting testing and changes linked to these.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Business Administration.
  • Experience: 2+ years working within a customer service environment.
  • Compliance: Proof of right to work in the UK and references covering the last 3 years.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
