Team Manager – Duty, Assessment and CIN

Seven Social Care is looking for a Qualified Team Manager to start work in Blackburn.

You will support the Duty, Assessment and CIN Team.

This is an agency post for 6 months initially, with the view to extending. Rate £45+.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Work within safeguarding frameworks and the Risk Management system to investigate and manage risk where children and young people have experienced or are likely to experience significant harm.

Be responsible for the operational service delivery of the social work team. To participate in the duty process receiving pre-graded referrals from the Childrens Advice & Duty Service (MASH).

Ensure that all relevant information is gathered to inform risk assessments and critically analysed to inform proportionate ‘risk sensible’ management plans.

Essential Requirements:

SWE Registered

Social work experience in the Safeguarding of Children and an understanding of the legislation and guidance that underpins this area of work.

Up to date enhanced DBS
