Team Manager – Here 4U Service

Seven Social Care is looking for a Qualified Social Work Team Manager, for Wokingham’s Here 4U Service. The Here 4U Service focuses on supporting Children in Care, Care Leavers, and Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children. This role is paying £46 per hour.

The role:

We are looking for a candidate that is passionate about children in care, Care Leavers and UASCs; who can champion our corporate parenting responsibility to help support and grow the service to ensure our young people are offered the best opportunities to achieve to their full potential and become independent, successful adults.

They will need to be flexible and responsive to the changing needs of the children in care, care leavers, the team and the Service. They will be able to demonstrate resilience and the ability to manage & prioritise competing demands, oversee financial expectations and demands alongside service delivery.

The Team manager oversees a team of Assistant Team Managers, Social Workers and Personal Advisors, ensures the provision of quality oversight, supervision and support to the team, ensuring young people’s plans are progressed and deliver improved outcomes.

The candidate will need to be a qualified social worker, have the necessary experience in working with this cohort of young people, and also be well versed in legislative and regulatory frameworks and drive service delivery, improvement and performance

Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications:

       Social Work degree + SWE Registration

Experience:  2+ years working as a Children’s QSW, in the UK, with Team Manager experience, along with successful completion of ASYE if qualified post 2008.

Compliance: RTW in the UK with no restrictions.

Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.

Hours: 37 hours p/w.
