Team Standards Coordinator (Childrens Services)

Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Team Standards Coordinator to work with Childrens Services in Southampton. This position is initially for a period of 3 months and is paying from £15.33 (PAYE) – £19.38 (Umbrella) per hour.

The role:

The Team Compliance Co-ordinator will be responsible for ensuring the team’s key statutory requirements are tracked and monitored to ensure full compliance and organisation across the team. The role will ensure timely and effective recording and distribution of plans, notes and actions from key meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

      To organise systems for planning, monitoring and tracking key statutory activities to ensure full team compliance with statutory responsibilities and expected key activities.

To support information gathering and tracking responses to complaints, alerts and FOI requests to ensure the team is acting in accordance with its published procedures and statutory timescales.

To effectively communicate with internal and external customers, face-to-face, in writing and over the telephone, in line with council standards.

To maintain comprehensive, up to date electronic and paper (where required) filing and information systems to support the effective functioning of the team

To organise and prepare for meetings with multiple participants

To provide support to the team for financial and human resource activities to ensure timely processing and clear monitoring of transactions

To provide immediate responses to cover emergency / interim supervised contact arrangements, support with responses to unexpected situations, and support social workers with joint visits to children and families and carers where required.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: A good level of general education, literate in English and Maths and IT systems eg Excel / Word.
  • Experience: Proven experience of a high standard of communication and organisational skills.
  • Compliance: Current DBS check and 2 x references.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37 hours p/w.
