Vaccination Delivery Lead

Seven Resourcing are looking for an interim Vaccination Delivery Lead to work in the Borough of Tower Hamlets. This position is initially for a period of 3 months and is paying £28.00 – £36.00 per hour (PAYE and Umbrella payment options available).

The role:

Responsibility for the development, operational delivery, and assurance of Covid-19 vaccination clinics in Tower Hamlets, including associated communications and engagement activity.

This programme of work encompasses clinics delivered via local primary care, community clinics, pop-up clinics, the anticipated Autumn/Winter booster programme and promotion of mass vaccination opportunities outside the borough.

Key Responsibilities:

      Establishing, coordinating and managing a programme of community vaccination clinics across Tower Hamlets in collaboration with NHS partners (CCG and primary care) and LBTH Public Health

Identifying and quality assuring a pipeline of appropriate venues in the borough to host vaccination activity at the required scale to deliver agreed run rate, targeted in areas and at cohorts with low uptake

Liaising with site owners and operators to allow use of their facilities as vaccination clinics to meet the delivery targets of the vaccination programme

Assuring that agreed activity meets the necessary requirements set out in the relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Overseeing the operational delivery of clinics delivered in community venues, pop-ups and via outreach (e.g. the Vaccination Bus), including confirming staffing and resource requirements

Supporting NHS CCG and primary care to deliver activity through the GO led vaccination sites

Working with communications to ensure timely, targeted, and impactful comms and engagement activity around vaccination activity

Working closely with colleagues in the Covid-19 Hub to ensure activity is appropriately coordinated

 

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualifications with Public Health (desirable, not essential).
  • Experience: 1 + year experience within a similar role.
  • Compliance: Current DBS check and references covering the last 3 years.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
