Waste Operative

Seven Resourcing are looking for a Waste Operatives to work in Middlesbrough. These positions are initially on a temporary basis paying £12.59 per hour.

Position:  Waste Operative

Location:  Middlesbrough

Pay Details: £12.59 per hour PAYE.

The role: To carry out domestic and trade refuse, recycling and bulky household collection and waste operations.

Key Responsibilities:

To report to the Team Leader any issues associated with the day-to-day operation which may affect standards of service.

To undertake duties within the wider Environmental Services team as required, and including but not limited to street cleansing duties, always maintaining a high standard of service.

To work proactively in dealing with operational issues, report to the Team Leader any issues associated with the day to day operation which may affect standards of service.

To always ensure the highest standard of customer care.

To communicate effectively with residents and members of the public.

When approached by customers/members of the public on work related issues and service standards, signpost as appropriate and refer Team Leader for action when necessary.

To work on your own initiative and perform day to day tasks unsupervised when necessary.

Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications: N/A.

Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.

Compliance: Proof of right to work in the UK and references covering the last 2 years.

Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
