Youth Justice Officer

Seven Social Care are looking for a Youth Justice Officer to work with Wiltshire Council. This position is paying up to £27 Per Hour .
The Role:
The Youth Justice Service provides positive, preventative, out of court, and statutory interventions to improve children’s safety and wellbeing and prevent offending or re-offending.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reduce the risks of youth crime, to families , communities and victims and safeguard the welfare of young people through effective case management
- Assess , plan and deliver multi agency Youth Justice services with a range of partners including police, probation, health and education.
- Undertake Youth Court duties including PSR preparation and have responsibility for the delivery of statutory interventions in line with Youth Justice Board expectations and National Standards
Applicant Requirements:
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 4 in community justice
- Experience: 2+ years working as a youth justice officer or similar.
- Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
- Hours: 37 hours p/w.
