Youth Support Worker

Seven is currently seeking a passionate and motivated Youth Support Worker to join our team in the London Borough of Havering.

The successful candidate will work with young people between the ages of 11-19 and provide them with support and guidance as they navigate through various challenges.

Responsibilities:

– Provide one-to-one support to young people in crisis situations

– Develop and facilitate group activities to promote personal and social development

– Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for young people under your care

– Maintain accurate records of interventions and progress

– Attend training and development opportunities to keep up to date with industry standards and best practices.

Please note: applicants must have availability for evening sessional work, with sessions starting anytime from 4.30pm and finishing by 9.30pm. These roles are initially for 12 hours a week with opportunity for more hours depending on service demand. This offers a competitive rate of £20.17 per hour.

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS
• GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics
