Seven Resourcing Fund Bleed Control Kit to Prevent Local Knife Crime

At Seven Resourcing, our commitment to creating a safer and more secure community is at the core of everything we do, so we are excited to announce we have teamed up with the incredible Be Lucky Anti-Crime Foundation. We have joined their mission to reduce knife crime in our local area by investing in bleed control kits.

Meet the Be Lucky Anti-Crime Foundation

Created by Paul Stanard, a local Ipswich man who tragically lost his brother to knife crime, The Be Lucky Anti-Crime Foundation is a non-profit organisation with a remarkable track record in combatting crime and fostering community safety. Having been founded by someone who has witnessed the devastating impact of knife crime firsthand, the foundation has been instrumental in initiating positive change in communities like ours.

Their mission is clear: to create safer communities by addressing the root causes of crime and violence, empowering individuals to make informed choices, and providing essential resources for immediate assistance during emergencies.

Investing in Bleed Control Kits: A small step towards making a big difference

We have teamed up with Be Lucky Anti-Crime Foundation to fund a local bleed control kit, which contains vital supplies, including first aid materials, trauma dressings, tourniquets, and clear instructions for providing immediate assistance in the event of a stabbing or similar injury. They empower community members to become first responders, potentially saving lives and minimising the severity of injuries.

Why bleed control kits?

  1. Immediate First Aid: Bleed control kits equip community members with the necessary tools to provide immediate first aid to victims of knife violence. Quick intervention can make a substantial difference in saving lives and minimising harm.
  2. Raising Awareness: The bleed control kit serves as a beacon of awareness regarding the consequences of knife crime. By shedding light on this pressing issue, we hope to encourage community members to stand united against violence and promote a culture of safety.
  3. Fostering Responsibility: Access to essential tools for emergency assistance fosters a sense of responsibility within our community. We believe that when individuals are empowered, they are more likely to step forward and support one another during challenging times.
  4. Community Unity: Our joint effort puts the unity in community. Together, we demonstrate that when we unite for a common cause, we have the power to make a significant impact on the issues we face.
  5. Long-Term Prevention: Beyond bleed control kits, we envision a future where educational programs, mentorship, and community engagement initiatives work synergistically with these resources to prevent violence at its roots.

Our Shared Vision

Seven Resourcing and the Be Lucky Anti-Crime Foundation share a common vision: a safer, more secure community where fear of knife crime is replaced by a sense of unity, support, and empowerment. By combining our efforts and investing in resources like bleed control kits, we are working towards creating lasting positive change.

Be Lucky Anti-Crim Foundation has now installed over 25 bleed control kits across East Anglia, and you can follow their journey here.
