Today is a day of high-fives and hearty cheers at Seven Resourcing!
We’ve hit a remarkable milestone that’s as much about the journey as the destination – raising a grand total of £20,000 for Ormiston Families since our charity partnership took off in 2021. Now, that’s a whole lot of good packed into two whirlwind years!
Every step, sprint, and splash in the mud during The London Marathon, Ipswich half marathon, and The Whole Hog assault course wasn’t just for the thrill of it. Each stride was a stride for change, transforming the lives of children, young people, and families across the East of England.
Picture this: the company football match at Colchester United’s stadium, not just a clash of our corporate titans but a UGrad+ Cup fiesta where every goal scored was a win for charity! ⚽
And who could forget the skydives? That’s right, we had brave souls who soared through the skies, embodying the spirit of Ormiston Families – rising above challenges and soaring to new heights. Plus, a skydive is the only place where ‘falling’ equates to ‘rising’ in our fundraising efforts!
Our bake sales were a sweet tooth’s dream come true, with cakes and treats that would give the Great British Bake Off a run for its money – all in the name of a wonderful cause.
Then there were the quiz nights that turned trivia buffs into heroes and the office bingo that had us all on the edge of our seats, raising money for a charity worth shouting about.
Let’s not forget the countless cue clashes in our pool tournament, the strikes and spares in our bowling events, and the friendly competitive fire of our office competitions. It turns out that Seven Resourcing is not just about resourcing talent but also about harnessing our competitive spirit for a great cause.
We’ve fostered a sense of community both within our offices and beyond, showing that when we come together, there’s no limit to the good we can do.
As we revel in this moment, let’s remember that the real champions are the families whose lives have been touched by Ormiston Families through the services funded by our collective efforts. This milestone belongs to every marathon runner, every baker, every quiz participant, every adrenaline junkie, and every single person who’s been a part of this fantastic journey.
